In December 2019, a new McDonald’s fast-food restaurant will open in Riviera Shopping City.
McDonald’s is a global leader in the fast-food industry and has over 35,000 establishments in more than 120 countries around the world, serving approximately 70 million visitors every day. Ukraine became the 102nd country where the McDonald’s network began to develop. This is the 92nd fast-food restaurant in Ukraine and the 32nd – a new format with experience of the future for visitors. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the shopping center “Riviera”, on the street. South Road, 101A. McDonald’s restaurants of a new format involve the introduction of technologies and processes that help to make service faster, and the experience of staying in a restaurant is more pleasant.
What will happen at McDonald’s in the Riviera shopping center:

– 4 self-service terminals, allowing visitors to calmly and without haste to examine all dishes from the menu in electronic format, place an order and pay for it using a card;

– The new principle of the cash zone. Cash desks are divided into two parts – for ordering and receiving dishes, it will be much more convenient for visitors and reduce waiting time;

– “Cooked for you”: the ability to add or remove ingredients from a burger according to your preferences. The landing area in the restaurant will occupy about 300 m2 and will be designed for 180 seats. The new restaurant will work daily from 8:30 to 23:00 hours and will offer all the positions presented in Ukraine. The food court design is a combination of loft & eco styles. The task was not only to expand the landing zone, but to make it functional, bright and convenient for customers of the Riviera shopping center. “We are very careful in the process of selecting operators and in the format, relying mainly on demand research from our visitors. For the first time in Odessa, McDonald’s opens at the food court of a shopping and entertainment center and this will be the starting point of the process of reconcepting the food zone in the Riviera shopping center. Now we are in the process of selecting operators that will complement McDonald’s in this area and will be able to offer our visitors a quality product and service, ” commented Julia Gumenskaya, Riviera Mall Rental Director.
The marketing team of the Riviera shopping center plans to open an entertainment program with show animations, photo areas, gifts for visitors and a wall for painting – for younger guests. Recall that recently in the Riviera shopping center opened a nine-hall cinema “Multiplex”, with the first hall in Ukraine with Screen X technology. MacDonald’s will be located just next door to the “Multiplex”.

McDonald’s is one of the largest foreign investors in Ukraine: the company has invested nearly $ 300 million in network and infrastructure development. Today the company employs more than 9300 people. According to the results of annual research by Hay Group, a global management consulting company, McDonald’s in Ukraine is one of the three leaders in the All-Ukrainian rating “Best Companies for Leaders”. For several years in a row, McDonald’s in Ukraine has been one of the best Ukrainian employers according to the results of a study of employee satisfaction in the rating “Best Employers of Ukraine”.

“Riviera” is located on the street. South road 101A s. Fontanka, Odessa region, twenty minutes from the center of Odessa and 5 minutes from the village of Kotovsky.
